Adult Sewing Classes


Begins on September 17. Course runs for 6 weeks from 6-8pm.

Course Description:

Set yourself up for a successful start in sewing. This 6 week course features 12 hours of instruction, and progresses from learning how to operate and troubleshoot your sewing machine to making a knife edged pillow or reversible tote and lounge pants using a commercial pattern. 

There are studio machines for class use but if you have your own, you will want to learn on that. You will be introduced to the tools we use for sewing during the first class and your supply list. You will not need your supplies until the third class.

Class Policy: 

You may register for a class online or by check or cash in the studio. We require payment in full to register for any class. Due to small class size, cancellations must be done 5 days  prior to the class start date in order for your payment to be refunded. We require a minimum of 4 students enrolled to run the course. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not get the minimum registration needed and you will receive all fees paid. You are required to bring  the supplies needed for any class or workshop. An adult class is for students 18 and older. Visitors, children and babies are not permitted in class. Sewing involves the use of sewing machines, scissors, needles and rotary cutters. By your participation in any class or workshop, you agree to release and hold harmless Sew Creative, it's instructors and employees from any and all claims and liability related to any accident that may arise as a result.
